良いニュースです。
概要は以下の通りです。
- 新しいNETELLERカードは北米(アメリカとカナダ)以外のユーザーが利用できるものとなる。
- 世界中のATMで現金を引き出すこと、およびMasterCardが使えるところ(リアル及びネット)でショッピングに使うことができる。
- 従来のNETELLERデビットカードと違い、カードの通貨が選択できる。通貨転換による手数料のロスが少ない。
- 新NETELLERカードは、5月末から発行が開始される予定。
ということで、旧NETELLERデビットカードよりもむしろベターなものになりそうです。
新旧NETELLERカードの手数料の比較は以下の通りです。
手数料が英ポンド表記になっているので、イギリスの金融機関が発行しているカードだろうと思います。アメリカの禁止法の影響を受けない形を選んだのでしょう。

出金限度額や残高の上限はすごいことになっていますね。(ATM側の制限もあるので一気に200万円以上引き出せることはないと思いますが)
NETELLERデビットカードからClick2Payに全面的に乗り換えないといけないと思っていましたが、あと一ヶ月でNETELLER新カードが手に入るのであれば、それまで待つのもいいですね。

つい数日前に、カナダでは発行しないことにしたという発表がありました。

goさん、これは銀行送金を依頼すると送られてくる定型自動返信メールです。
現在米ドル(USD)での送金ができないので、便宜上いちどユーロ(Euro)かポンド(GBP)に転換してから、送金してもらうことになります。受け取り口座はUSDでも日本円でも大丈夫です。
EuroとGBPのどちらに転換するか、ネッテラーのサポートに連絡してください。
そうすると、手続きが進みます。

We are currently experiencing higher than normal support volumes. Due to recent legislative changes, NETELLER can no longer process USD bank wire withdrawals.
This includes intermediary and beneficiary banks for international wires.
We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.
We remain committed to providing you with the following withdrawal methods:
1. Issue a bank wire in a currency other than USD
NETELLER can issue you a bank wire in Euro or GBP with a small foreign exchange fee (1.9% + daily rate). Australian residents can have their bank wires converted into Australian dollars with the same fees applied. This may take several days to reach your account.
Please note the funds will be converted back to your bank account currency when they are received by your bank. Please enquire with your bank about any additional fees.
2 . Open a NETELLER account in a currency other than USD
If you choose this option, your USD account will be closed and replaced with a new currency account (CAD, GBP or EUR). Please contact us for assistance with this change.
3. Initiate an Online Check withdrawal
For this option, click the "Withdrawal" tab at the top of the page and click the "Make Withdrawal Now" button. You will then be prompted to enter the amount of the deposit and select the "Cheque" withdrawal method.

どのような申請方法になるのか等、わかり次第ニュースとしてお伝えします。
ただし、いきなり送りつけてくる可能性もゼロではないように思います。

最初の送金受け取り時は銀行口座情報は必ず電話で伝えることになっているので、電話は必要です。
かかってこない場合は、自ら電話をかけるか、もしくはサポートにメールで「電信送金での出金に関して日本時間のｘｘ時頃に電話をください」と連絡してみてください。
スタッフが減っているせいか、最近のNETELLERは何事もタイムリーに進まないような印象はありますね。

by ヤマザキ : 2007年05月08日ヤマザキさん、これはNETELLERの定型メールなのですが、内容としてはUSDでは銀行送金できないので他の通貨を選択してくださいというものです。
NETELLERの銀行送金担当メールアドレスに向けて、ユーロか英ポンドでいいという内容のメールを送ってみてください。
私の経験だと、それで大丈夫のはずです。
業務が逼迫し、さらにサポートスタッフが減っているせいか、以前よりだいぶ反応が悪いですが、最初の送金時に口座と通貨を指定してしまえば、その次からは自動的に比較的早く送金が実行されます。
